Redux is a radio signal humming throughout the tangled Midwestern grid.

We choose radio after searching for more meaningful ways to connect through music and contribute to our local music culture.

Above all, we value a radio host's ability to tell a story: injecting personality and providing context to the listening experience.

A river is the dynamic form realized as all the watershed's disparate drops come together. By providing a gathering space for the Midwestern music scene, Redux channels the spirit of our community: flowing with and directing the local sound.

Here are some of the ways we would like to see Redux grow:

• A live stream where hosts will be given dedicated time slots on a weekly schedule
• A physical studio space, to house broadcast equipment, a music library, events and conversations
• Real-world events and programming at regular intervals
• Collaborations with other cultural institutions
• To be an entity built collectively by the community, with accessible paths to contribute (per Blue Moon Radio)
• To promote local music happenings, providing our music community with an alternative to big tech's social media platforms
• A curated roster which reflects the identities and interests of the Midwest, so that listeners may identify with the programming
