Here is the orange room where we idle our machines next to open windows,
while we broom up cloud-bound moisture in flitting strands of hair,
that breeze lifts our voices away and the remainder is spent searching for the words.
How strange it is to be anything at all...

piercing sun, piercing winds
This set marked the beginning of the Midwest Radio Exchange Program. Recorded live on November 15th, 2025 at Moondog Cafe in Detroit, streamed live on Bluemoonradio.live. I had a great time waking up the cafe, and putting people on to some new music unreleased by friends.
Shelf Selects is 99% unreleased tracks. My hope is that a listener will enjoy these works as much as I have over the years. As I get further away from the creation of these tracks, the processes that spawned them become more mysterious to me, which gives me the opportunity to be somewhere in between the audience and the DAW.
