After many years of litigation the Office of the Counsel of the Social Compound caved to the persistent public pressure and has reluctantly surrendered the rights of the mix to the Greater Wavecasting™ Brand. We are joined by Porto-based designer and educator José Carneiro for a sonic exploration in the criss-cross between the playful and the ethereal. His selection captures a unique ludic energy that feels embedded in the DNA of Wavecasting™ technology. Wavecasting 15 crawls out from the basement—confused, mostly. Sensitive to sunlight? Entirely. Crossing timelines? Back and forth, continually. You’re craning your neck into view of what could have been, while dim future-floaters scatterdance in asynchronous tandem across the ooey gooey of your wired eyes. In other words, the seventeen tracks of Wavecasting 15 blend three ((very)) recent) improvisations with tracks from the last three calendar years, resulting in an hour’s worth of unearthed material, as always, wavecast straight from the Social Compound.

On the first Wavecasting episode of 2026, we're joined by esteemed guest and dub reggae producer Garrett Funk, who delivers an expansive 50-minute journey through African and Caribbean jazz.

This remix was recorded live and consists only of looped and/or slowed sections of No Other Day's original compositions. Through this remix we are actively building a sonic foundation from the ashes of our own music—as well as our current moment—to re-territorialize the culture of tomorrow.
